Tinariwen - Imidiwaren (KMRU Remix) & New 2022 US & Europe Tour Dates

After the recent remix of  ‘Alkhar Dessouf’ by Zeid Hamdan, Tinariwen invite Kenyan born KMRU, to remix ‘Imidiwaren’. KMRU is a sound artist and experimental ambient musician based in Berlin, whose works deal with discourses of field recording, improvisation, noise, ambient, machine learning, radio art and expansive hypnotic drones - his remix turns Imidiwaren’ into a truly ambient piece.

In his own words, KMRU says “The process of the remix was quite intentional thinking through the sounds of the track, creating a narrative yet keeping original ideas in place - the remix feels like a wander through through void landscapes.”

The release of KMRU’s remix comes with exciting news that after a hiatus, Tinariwen will be going on their first tour in over 3 years. The tour will begin in August and spread across the Switzerland US, UK and Switzerland.
